Job Description:
CCL has been requested by a major oil & gas producer to provide a Mechanical Technician to be based in Libya. Must be currently in country with applicable visa, contract will run for 6-12 months + on a 6 day week, 8 hour day on a 12/2 rotation. Excellent salary / terms & conditions. Graduate of Mechanical Engineering Technology, Automotive Engineering Technology or equivalent from a recognized institution. Other applicable certificates and/or experience will be evaluated. Fluency in English language. Computer literacy (Basic Microsoft Office). 10 years of experience in a similar industry of which 3 years should be in a power plant setting for Lead position. Must have experience working in harsh conditions. The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for engine repair and maintenance of diesel gas reciprocating engines in a power generation plant setting. This individual will work closely with the Maintenance Manager on site as well as other Mechanical and Electrical Technicians to ensure all assets are properly operated and maintained at all times.
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
