MSF is seeking qualified applicants for the following position:
Clinical Psychologist
JOB PURPOSE
- Participate in health promotion and awareness activities
- Provide comprehensive mental health care
- Assist in referring patients in need of specialized services (legal, social) or higher level of medical care (psychiatric hospitalization) to the appropriate agency/facility, in cooperation with the medical team and field coordinator
- Ensure complete documentation of cases and safe storage facility / system for patient files, registers and MH database
- Working with expat psychologist to provide MH training for identified partners on MSF guidelines, protocols, mental health topics
PRE REQUISITES
Academic
- Degree in clinical psychology
- Experience/interest psychological impact of conflict and violence
- Knowledge of conversational English
- Experience in facilitating trainings (preferred)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Knowledge in conducting groups and trainings (preferred)
- Experience of the work within a multidisciplinary team
